Their talking "balanced" charging. Take it to heart if it makes you feel better.
I'll guarantee there is no difference if all connections are good and clean. If they are not good and clean, you'll have more problems that is going to take more than balancing to fix.
If you want to check it non balanced, just check the voltage on both batteries while charging, if there ain't a few hundredsth of a volt difference, then there is no difference.
