The easy way to do things, both six and 12 volt is to think like this.
When they are all properly installed and interconnected you do not have "Batteries"... you have Battery, One, BiG 12 volt battery.
Now in case of 12 volt in parallel, Some of what I'm about to type does not apply, or does not apply as strongly (There are those who argue it does)
One of the common six volt battery questions is Can I replace Just one of 'em?
Well, if you had say an 8D 12 volt battery (Roughly the same as a pair of sixes in series) Could you replace just 1/2 of it? Same answer.
In your case, How do I charge them? How would you charge just one? Same answer, in parallel they become "one" as the mystic says.
