HELP! Problem w/ 97 Roadtrek propane connection

I bought a 1997 RT Versatile in the fall, and I went to two different places to fill the propane today for the first time, and in BOTH places they could not thread the connection to dispense the prop...

If going to a propane service shop doesn't get it fixed for you, ask the mods to move this thread to the Class B forum. Some of those folks own or have owned older Roadtreks, and may have seen similar issues. Both of my RT's were slightly newer, with a different location for the tank.
