Help to trouble shoot stair chair
I replaced the two 12V batteries in my stair chair. I've done this before with no problems. Today I replaced the batteries again and now it doesn't work. This is what I did to try to find any problem...

i think the OP is describing, a chair style lift, in the stick house, to move up or down the stairs, it doesn't move around the house, sit down push a button, it takes you to the top of the stairs OR down the stairs..no climbing the stairs, no falling
it is powered by batteries, just like a mobile chair/scooter
it has a power transformer aka battery charger (not an inverter)
there fore it works even IF there is a power outage
it is most likely a 24v system using motor and controller similar to a mobile chair
either he is connecting the second battery wrong
or the second NEW battery is bad
but he said BOTH batteries check at 13+ volts
so i assume he is getting the second battery in backwards or other wise wrongly connected
