Help to trouble shoot stair chair
I replaced the two 12V batteries in my stair chair. I've done this before with no problems. Today I replaced the batteries again and now it doesn't work. This is what I did to try to find any problem...

I found a solution to my stair chair problem. Replace it for $2700.00. I just couldn't justify repairing a 15+ year old chair. The new chair will have the latest technology and is rack and pinon drive instead of cable drive. These chairs are built to order and mine is in production now. The rack and pinon is quieter too. That price is high but it includes shipping and installation.
Right now it takes a little longer to go up and down stairs one step at a time. It also means taking more prescription pain pills. Oxycontin,that's a powerful drug and I don't like taking them. I will use ibuprofen and when it doesn't work I go to the Oxycontin. When my chair is working I don't need any pain med's.
