Help with Converter problem, please.

Brought DW home from hospital Friday after her TKR. All went well, now PT. Had a bad storm while at the hospital and lost shore power. Now it appears that I have lost 12V out from the converter, no 12v unless batteries connected. Checked the output at the breaker panel with batteries disconnected and 0.0V! FYI Converter is WFCO 8955. 5er is 2010! We usually boondock!
Should I:
A. Try to troubleshoot the converter?
B. Replace main board with OEM\
C. Replace with Boondocker PowerMAx?
D. Am I missing something?

  • You measured 0 volts at the breaker panel? Is this measuring the 120 volt AC?
That would indicate no feed from power pedestal or source. Have you tried resetting breakers both in pedestal and the rig?
Start by turning off all breakers in rig applying light pressure toward off. Turn off pedestal breaker in same manner. Turn shore power pedestal breaker back on. Turn on main breaker in rig, then branch breakers one at a time.
If you are measuring no DC voltage, then check 120 volt power to converter, then converter DC output at the converter. Your converter DC panel has reverse polarity fuses. Make sure they are good.
