Help with Onan 5000 starts won’t stay running.

Hello, I have a 1998 Georgieboy Pursuit with an Onan 5000 generator in it. The generator will start and run while holding the start button but as soon as you let you the generator cuts off. We have ch...

The generator is a 97 so there is no light to check for a code on it.
We tried connecting it directly to a gas jug with new gas and seafoam in it.
