Don't confuse battery charging with 120 volt ac.
Solar installations need to include a "charge controller".

With an invert/charger/transfer switch, you no longer need a converter/charger. Disconnect it and connect the DC distribution panel directly to your battery bank.
So with one of these all in ones its everything I need except for the panels?
