"Solar charge controller" is ok. But "solar controller" is to suggest you can control the sun! As we know, it is hit and miss whether you can ever get your batts properly charged with solar.
Generator takes too long, so that leaves--shore power as the only real way to get it done for sure.
Then you have to arrange somehow that your charging amps of 20% of AGM size in AH does not blow the stick house breaker when the charger is fired up.
If it does, and you can't arrange anything else, then you are stuck with less than 20% charging if you ever want to see that magic 0.5a per 100AH at the right voltage. So you got that 0.5a part done at the right voltage, but not at 20% so your AGMs will be toast anyway. :( It is a cruel world!
