yes amazon can and usually beats the prices of other places to get parts but you must know that if you want this part or that part they may come from different suppliers and you may have to pay shipping from one or both. if one is over $25 you pay nothing but if the other part is $5 you will pay shipping and sometimes the shipping is higher than the price of the part. but having said all that, I do agree you should check the prices with amazon before you buy. I had the need for a part and found it on line and then found out my dealer had it cheaper and no shipping.
They upped the free shipping on qualified orders to $35.00 but can have several items to get to that if they are qualified items
