Honest to goodness.. lighten up..
900W CAN do a lot and SIP FUEL doing it..
It isn't any different than someone buying a 1000W HONDA to run a small power tool..
My Dad many years ago had a 375W HF surplus gen given to him.. That thing was awesomely miserly on fuel usage, not all that noisy and could easily power a TV and a few lights.. Not to mention with a small battery charger you COULD go into a remote place and charge a battery..
That gen was about the same weight as a weedeater and extremely compact..
The only downside to HF is it is a one and done, no parts what so ever available for repairing but heck at $88 vs $800 for a Honda 1000W WHO CARES if it breaks..
Why is it that the majority of folks just can't get past the idea there are folks that simply can not afford to spend $1000 to $2000 and if a $88 gen is what they can afford.. WHY beat the tar out of those folks just because they CAN'T afford YOUR idea of a hobby???

If the power output, to include inrush current, is competitive with the EU2000i, we may have ourselves a real winner for $599.
. . .
NORTHERN TOOL has a sale going on for an INVERTER GENERATOR. Customer reviews claim it is a clone to the Honda, just as quiet, <2% harmonic distortion, started on the first 1-3 pulls yadda yadda.

Remember the Honda 600?
There is nothing as pathetic as running a large generator powering a tiny load.
