I have heard those rumors too. but there is what I call a "Flip Side"
Every action you can take has three element you must consider
Cost, Risk, Benefits. and in some cases a 4th CLUES
In this case the "CLUE" is that they call it HHO, not H2O and not Water, which is what it is.. Water.. They had to come up with a fancy name for it and this is a warning sign of SCAM.
The risk here is adding water to hot metal of your engine,, This promotes corrosion (Rust) and can lead to early engine failure. THat is a major risk, with major cost involved.
Many of the "Fleets" using these systems (Are they really, I mean did you check) The vehicles are of such a nature that engine failure is likely in a short time anyway.. So they don't blame the Water Injectors..
THus I have to support. Given government regulations requiring improved MPG.. If these low up front cost systems actually worked,  They woudl be factory installed.
