high voltage solar panels?
Has anyone experimented with high-voltage solar panels on their RV? I'm thinking along the lines of the 250-300+ watt panels that output 40-60 volts, versus the little 25-100 watt 12 volt panels typi...

Also go to a 24v battery set and 24v inverter and get 120v AC from that inverter. Use a smaller solar set for your basic 12v needs and don't invert up from 12 to get any 120?
I think you'd have to have a dedicated 12v battery on your 2nd comment.
Yes, the rig would have two solar sets with two battery banks, one 24v for inverter and one 12v for basic 12v stuff. Somewhere in here the guy mentions controllers struggling with panels over 50v.
