Wood underwater does not rot, it needs air. Mine stayed wet all the time and I was intrigued that it had not rotted.

It's not underwater, it's exposed to water and air. Wood will rot underwater unless it's 40 retention and even then it eventually rots.
No going to spar with you on it. I've seen plenty of rotted wood frames on RV's in my time. Not my first rodeo by a long shot.
You might try putting in a dehumidifier. Natural drying could take months...if at all.
