Question #1: How do you put gas in the bottom generator?
Question #2: Can an extended run external tank be connected to both of those generators?
It's easy to do with Hondas. Can it be done with Champions?
They can be run/paralleled side by side, if you wanted to use an extended run tank. You may be able to add fuel to the bottom tank, with the supplied funnel, if you did not want to lift it off.
If you are refueling in the dark, this Champ has a built in LED light, that shines right in the gas tank. Nice little feature IMO!

I work part time at a small engine shop, we turn the Chinese knockoffs away because parts and service information are too hard to source. As John Ruskin noted over 150 years ago the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. Before I get flamed some are happy with these products but many are not.
I would be curious as to what kinda small engine you are working on that is not made in China. Lets be honest now.:W
64 dollar question there.... Coming clean may be too much. - SidecarFlipExplorer III

Champion generators are not "your usual Chinese knockoff". Their headquarters and design facilities are right here in California:

Other than Yamaha, Champion is about the only inverter generator I would buy after Honda.
Here's another Champion 2000 watt stackable inverter generator at a great price:

Thank you....
5 years on my Champ 2000 Inverter and ZERO issues and I use it around the farm for portable power as well. Change the oil, replace the plug and drain the fuel when not using it, all good.
I have the old box style. Works for me. - Dave_H_MExplorer II

Bought mine for 349.00 when they were on sale.....the next week they went to 599.00. Works great. Bought a 50amp to 110 adapter which will keep the lights working among other things if need be. Weighs 43 pounds and only 52 decibels.
Also bought one when on sale, back around black Friday. They were $399 at start of sale, then briefly dropped to $349. Another 10 percent off for HD active military discount, so $314. They went back up to $599, and I've not seen any change since. It is possible, however, that link shows $599 for me.
Jerry - D_E_BishopExplorerTalking to the Store Manager at Costco Burbank and got the following info;
Costco is often able to buy an introductory item, end run item or discontinued item at a very low price. These items sell faster in different areas, therefore, some stores run out of these special deals faster than others and the new stock usually is at a higher price. The Burbank store is out of stock and the order price is also $599.
I bought my 2000 from the dealer here in So Cal, it was an online special of reconditioned unit that didn't have a mark on it and had the cover, funnel and parallel kit with it. I paid $265 and the distributors Father delivered it to my home and set it up and ran it. He lived 20 minutes from us and he and his wife just took a ride rather than pay the shipping. If I have a problem, none in two years, Dad said to call and he'd come get from me.
Just another run of the mill China Junk Store, NOT! - cpaulsenExplorerBought mine for 349.00 when they were on sale.....the next week they went to 599.00. Works great.
