For running A/C and/or the microwave, I have to leave the eco switch off on my paralleled Honda 2000s. Otherwise, they just bog down and the A/C compressor won't kick on and the microwave browns out. But most of my boondocking is at 10,000 feet plus. Don't know what they would do at "normal" elevations. They've never been below 8,000 feet.
