Honda 2000 generator Fast Idle mode for Eco-ON extra Power

My Honda 2000 generator started up cold then Eco Switched On will start my Whynter 11kBTU portable AC after the AC's 3 minuted compressor start delay. When the AC cycles off, then tries to cycle back...

The 2kW Honda is MAXIMUM rated or surge rated to 2kW and produces less for continuous loads. I am surprised that it can start a A/C of that size in ECO mode. The starting inrush is too great and the generator will sag and then overshoot.

You need to leave it ECO off while running the A/C. The surging is not good on the A/C or generator.
