Honda 3kw at full load vs 7kw at 1/2 load, which is quieter?

I realize that the Honda EU7000 will cost more and will weigh more but which is quieter at the equivalent output power generating load? When compared at full loads, the EU3000 is quieter of the two, but I am curious what happens when both are running at 3000-ish watts load...

While at it, what about the gas consumption? It appears that when EU3000 full load is compared to EU7000 at 1/2 load, again, EU7000 wins, at least according to their spec on Honda website.

    Well, since the Eu3000 is only rated at 2800 watts continuous, the EU7000 will win that one. But I get your point. I would expect the EU7000 to be quieter at half load than the EU3000 at full load, and I expect the same with fuel economy. The EU7000 also costs quite a bit more, but you do have to pay for quality.
