Honda EU1000 coil test

I don't have a Honda manual, but a ballpark figure would be less than one ohm from ground to the panel wire & 7500 from the spark plug wire to ground wire & infinity from the frame to any wire.It could still have a minor internal short that would keep it from working. Most shops have a coil tester that will give a more positive answer.

Ohm from the spark plug lead to each connection and then from one connection to the other. If you have a reading all three ways, then it probably isn't the coil. I can't give you exact resistance that they should be.
