JB weld will not work there,, Not sure what will but it has to be rated for very high temps. JB Weld breaks down at those temps, all epoxy compounds do.
You might try some Locktite but frankly... I think it looses "Grip" at high temp too.. If it holds long enough,, Rust will set in and fix it for you.
