I would expect maybe 5-10 ohm, not .2 ohms. The fact that the "spark control" unit is involved with the ignition coil as well as the low oil shutdown switch I would suspect that being defective. I doubt flywheel rust would bother anything but would look closely anyhow.
I always suspect there is a reason when something sat unused for a time. Probably just quit running a year ago.
