If I discconnected the yellow (oil switch), and measure I get "open" circuit / 1mega ohm
When try to start, I get the same thing ie. about 1s of spark then no more spark as the oil alert flash/blink.
If I discconnected the Blac(ignition coil), and measure I get "short" circuit / .2/.3 ohm
When try to start, no spar at all & oil alert does NOT come on.
Check & clean key switch and measure continuity for off = good. For on = I get short circuit on IG&E. If, disconnect connectors from key switch & ICM, all test are good for key switch.
What is the resistance suppose to be for the ignition coil? I feel that the grounding or low resistance on the ignition coil is causing my oil alert to go on and trigger the no spark.
thanks.
