Honda generator oil

I have used the Amsoil small engine oil in all my generators for years.
If you need an off the shelf oil, walmart has rotella or delo 10w30 heavy duty engine oil that works well for small engine use.

I run the same oil as in my truck engine so I only have to buy and carry one oil. Rotella T6 5W-40 Synthetic. Has worked well for lots of hours and several years. I run it in seven different generators.

I only use Amsoil Small Engine synthetic in my Honda EU2000’s

I use this in my generator, and all my lawn equipment. Excellent stuff, especially when running my genny for 8 hours, stopping only to fuel. Your generator will thank you.
