Honda generator rental

In Home Depot today I noticed a 2000 w Honda generator in the rental area, $40 a day. I guess if you just wanted one for a weekend it might be easier/cheaper than buying one??

This is where I send people asking if their new $2000+ Honda EU3000is will run their RV's A/C. This will prove to them that they have a better than 50/50 chance it won't unless the A/C has some sort of kit installed. I speak from painful experience on this one!

Our local Home Depot has the EU2000 in the rental department; never checked the rental price though. $40 per day sounds reasonable.

  • I was surprised to see my local rental shop has Yamaha inverters for rent. They had big Kohler diesel trailer mounted ones too, with 1000 watt flood lights attached.
  • The local rental place by my house has rented the for years. They have everything from the 1000 all the way up to the 6500.
