You lost the linkeage from the throttle control to the throttle. The rngine is idleing Look for a metal wire that conects to the engine throttle or look for the engine throttle. If you find the throttle and you move it and the engine accelerates means the linkeage is disconected or not be moved.
On another note, the HF 3500W is not bad. I have 2 of them, bought the 2 years extended warranty, at 1 year 11 months I brought them in and they gave me 2 new ones, no questions asked. I bought the extended warranty again and they told me "See you in 1 year and 11 months!"
