honda generators
have a Honda 2000 companion with rv outlet and Honda eu 1000.Parallel cable hookup not recommended by Honda.Anybody ever done it .Could do with a bit more than the 2000 occasionally. I don't dare just...

Parallel a EU-2000i and an EU-1000i.
Yes it has been done.. Members in one of the forums I visit posted that they have done it.. AS I RECALL you must start the 1000 first.
I believe this is because the 2000 has a special "Sense" mode it starts in that syncs it with the already running inverter generator (if any) and the 1000 does not since it was not designed to be parrallelled.
And I do not recommend it
But given enough time I might be interested in that 1000. (I actually want a Yahama EF-1200i.)
