I'm quite happy with my Yamaha 3000 watt inverter model, but it is a porker, so it lives in the bed of my truck. The reason I would recommend the Honda 2000 watt units is the fact that you can buy a good extended run tank for them (make sure you get a plastic cap instead of the CNC machined aluminum to minimize the chance of stripping threads), you can find parts/service almost anywhere, and they work well. This doesn't say the Yamahas are bad, but the extended run tank comes in handy when boondocking in Texas when you have to have the A/C on for most of the day.
I also like the fact that you can parallel more than two Hondas.
