This area is in Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains in California, on US 395 Highway 4 hours south of Reno NV to Highway 120 over the top to Yosemite Valley.
Standard 220 to 120 volt converters will work fine. BRING Metric to US PIPE adapters. Once your metric pipe has been adapted to US pipe threads, things will be very easy to deal with. An 8 kg pot is very commonly found and easy to sell after your trip.
