house batterys
I have 2 12 volt battery's for the house. When I am hooked up to shore power one battery is real hot and one is not. Do I have a bad battery or is my charging unit over charging?

Replace them but a voltmeter may have given you advance warning. Load testing could also be helpful. And if not sealed a hydrometer should reveal a bad cell.
