House/solar battery opinions
My current battery space is 20"L x 14"w x 10"H Going solar, and want to packs as much AH in there as I can (reasonably). Currently looking at 250 - 300. Price is not THE deciding factor, unless ...

Much to consider...
Couldn't sleep last night because I had the beginnings of a crazy design for a frame which would expose one 300w panel while driving, then fold out to expose two more while stationary. Weight and the ability to firmly clamp down the foldouts while driving are a consideration lol.
Have time to think while playing with the new monitor. Using a 5 foot section of thermostat 18/5 wire - installation guide said 16 - 26 gauge depending on distance. Not much distance in a TC. Wired the monitor to the shunt last night - today just have to place it in the unit. Tomorrow the batteries...
Thanks to everyone for the fantastic amount of info, opinions and suggestions. The biggest decision I have next are the panels and their layout, which will affect everything else I do.
