Almot - the design and construction IS fun. I'm retired and enjoying myself. But the folding panel frame was more of a whimsy which will never be attempted.
I picked up the tm2025 to show me how much we use. The callculators are basic guesstimators. Just got the monitor installed. Judging by the idiot meter in the RV we used 25 to 35 amps a day. Those things are inaccurate as the dickens, though. We probably could get by with a smaller amount of batteries and solar. Kind of not the point lol. I want to do as much as I reasonably can because it's fun and may get me an extra day or two off the grid. plus, I'm learning like crazy which - to me -is also fun.
Guess I shouldn't mention I was wondering if I could us the TV antenna mount to control the tilt of a panel *grin*
I'm sticking with a flat panel, design, and mylans are tentative depending on what I learn from the monitor. Assuming I figure out how it works. But in this case I'm of the school more is better. Since I get 480 AH in the space available, why not? And once I have it, how can I best keep,it charged or have it recharge quickly as possible?
