ARE THERE ANY so-called smart chargers around that are plug-and-play? Ones a person doesn't have to play mind games with in order to get a decently full charge? Mind games including clicking switches fooling temperature compensation or needing 600 hours to fully charge a battery so that OEM specific gravity appears before the battery sulfates?
Charging by generator I will be damned if I can come across anything as simple and as thorough as a decent size charger connected to a six-hour spring wound Intermatic Timer. At home a demented smart charger has enough IQ to maintain a decent charge for awhile.
