After fighting to get it to do a decent job for a couple years, I threw my portable Schmacher "smart" charger in the trash after cutting the cords off of it. Many of these expensive chargers do a great job separating people from their money, but little else. My 25 year old 10/30/50 charger does a lot better job, and a lot quicker too.
