- riggspExplorerHad the same problem 5 years ago...after trying to stop the crack and using Eternabond, the crack finally went far enough to move from under the Eternabond, so I replaced it with one from EZ Tops...the original dome was screwed down too tight...cleaned the area under the dome, put in new decor sealer, drilled holes in the new dome, installed with new stainless screws ( not too tight), and put new Eternabond around the perimeter over the screws...no leaks now for 5 years.
- Johno02ExplorerWe had one crack just on a corner and start leaking. Tried several times to apply sealer to stop leak. Even took top cover off, cleaned sealer, replaces with new sealant, and used lots of sealer. Inspected repair inside ad outside. After a month or so, it started leaning again. Replaced outer dome with a new one, no problems since. Trying to fix it doubled my overall cost.
- MiPaJacksExplorerAmazing Goop! Fixes everything
- RVcircusExplorer IIThat makes more sense. I was wondering why so many people we recommending fixing instead of replacing:)

If the cover has cracked it's probably become brittle from UV damage and will continue to cause aggravation. I replaced all 3 of ours last year and they can be had on Amazon for < $10.

Those are the vent lids- the OP is talking fixed skylight. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerPull a snippet of cured GOOP apart and after six inches or so it will snap back. Something NO OTHER ADHESIVE will do. If you do not need transparency, sand the surfaces with 400 grit, and adhesion will advance to near insane level. I've never found another adhesive like it. It actually fixes shoes. A slopped a patch over a hole the size of a quarter in a pair of sandals and it lasted six months of daily wear.
- NinerBikesExplorerGoop, or Shoe Goo. I've used both on flexible fishing waders that are Goretex breathable material, and it works well.

http://amzn.to/1X4WQei - bdpreeceExplorer III am beginning to really love Goop. As stated it is cheap, easy to find and it works for almost anything. After spending a small fortune trying to find something that would glue my slide seals in place and last, I tried Goop and it works great as a glue also. It seals it glues I'm just not too sure if you need to ever remove it how to get it off.
