Thanks everyone for your suggestions. It has helped tremendously! I would hope fellow RVers would not stoop so low as to steal the device but I am not taking any chances when it cost around $250. It says in the documentation that it is weatherproof. However to be on the safe side I will use a bag as some of you have suggested.
