As an alternative to a drain plug, if you have the cash, an oil evac pump might be worth using as an alternative. No squatting to go under the vehicle... just stick tube in, turn on the pump, suck the oil out, change the filter, add new oil, and done.
Thanks for tip... I still have to crawl under to get to oil filter. When I'm waiting oil to drain I check out how much meat left on the brakes, usually have to tighten screw clamp on transmission line out of trans cooler, look for any loose bolts etc..and of course have to course bang head at least once and get a little bit of oil on me.
