How far is too far for the inverter?
My inverter is going to be about 4-5 feet from the battery bank, and maybe an additional foot or two by the time I run the wire. I am using 2 gauge wire. Is that too far? The inverter will only see...

1600 watts divided by 12 VDC= 133 amps! That is a very substantial draw from a 360 amp-hr battery bank.
the microwave is 900 watts, so 900/12= 75 amps. That 75 amps will only be on for a few minutes a day. 75/10 = 13. I can live with that.
