How long do we want batteries to last ?
IMO, and IME, nothing is simpler to maintain than LA RV batteries. When connected to a decent charger, and watered once...maybe twice a year, and maybe hosed off once in a while, they last an easy 8-1...

Is this Supercharged in disguise?
Watered once or twice a year? How do you get by with that.. living in a cold climate and never using them? 8-10 years? Not in my rig.
Mine needed watering at least once a month, sometimes more, and I have pretty decent stuff. Bad mouth AGMs all you want..but I for one am glad to be rid of the watering, and the acid holes in my clothes.
