How long do we want batteries to last ?
IMO, and IME, nothing is simpler to maintain than LA RV batteries. When connected to a decent charger, and watered once...maybe twice a year, and maybe hosed off once in a while, they last an easy 8-1...

2oldman, I only water mine once a year. RJ, I'm a nerd so I get endless enjoyment talking about technical stuff. All good fun and learning. If you were to live with me for a year, you'd realize that I don't spend much time with battery maintenance. I got better things to do. Like I mentioned in another thread, a little time spent now = no time spent later. That's my philosophy on everything.
