Truck battery:
First went 38 months so just out of oem warranty.
Second was Sam's Club went maybe 48 months but gave up membership so bought new at Costco.
Costco lasted 34 months and full original price refunded when I bought a new battery at Costco.
This 4th battery is still working after a couple years. Now mostly in storage and trailer solar gives maintenance charge through Trik-L-Start.
Never watered any of these.
We talking truck battery, or deep cycle type of battery? The Motorcraft battery in our 2000 Ford Explorer went almost 10 years. Gave maybe 2 days warning when it flat out croaked. No big deal, picked a replacement up at WalMart and was done with it.
Don't know yet about the life of WalMart special Deep Cycle Batteries, I am a year into my single 24 DC, got LED's, got a solar charger, and got generators. Waiting for it to die a slow death, and then will replace with 6v GC batteries. Could be next week, could be in 5 to 7 years... taking a wait and see attitude and keeping it charged up and full, as well as hopefully equalized.
