How long do we want batteries to last ?
IMO, and IME, nothing is simpler to maintain than LA RV batteries. When connected to a decent charger, and watered once...maybe twice a year, and maybe hosed off once in a while, they last an easy 8-1...

The Motorcraft 12-GXT-65 in my 03' Ford F-250 is the original. I noticed the starter is getting slower so replacement is imminent. This battery has been abused. I have a 1500w sound system powered and the stupid door ajar switches in the door turn on the interior lights whenever they please.
