How long do we want batteries to last ?
IMO, and IME, nothing is simpler to maintain than LA RV batteries. When connected to a decent charger, and watered once...maybe twice a year, and maybe hosed off once in a while, they last an easy 8-1...

i've had two Costco 12v deep cycle batteries that i bought 6 years ago and i only have to add water once a year.
and i live in California with lots of sunshine.
the decals on the front of the trailer haven't lasted as long as the batteries have and they all face the sun.
