If you know nothing of the history of what was don, I would check and see if your converter is set up for charging AGM batteries otherwise they can be damaged and definitely won't last. Those batteries aren't exactly cheap and you want the most mileage possible out of them.

It's my first experience with AGM technology and I was wondering if anyone knows what the average lifetime is on one of these.
