The addition of a carbon atom has to deplete O2 percentage. By X number of PPM there has to be depletion for a determining of facts or the assumption remains an assumption. This is not a challenge but rather a hopefully positive remark.
CO2 makes up 400 parts per million (ppm) of the atmosphere. That's 0.00004 percent by the way. O2 is 210,000 ppm (21 percent) so the air's CO2 content isn't going to make a dent in the O2 concentration.
There has been a slight decrease in the O2 content of the air but people are puzzled about what the reason for that could be. It does not have anything to do with burning fuel.
