Too much time is billed when no work is done. going and getting parts is one example.our local dealer charges $105 per hour and if you get 1/2 hour work out of that i'd be amazed. I got into an argument about charges and they said they have to pay for electric and telephone and heat etc. I told them that I had the same bills in my buisness and I come to you, so I had the extra expense of truck and fuel. No, I never returned to them.I think I would rather pay a flat rate charge where you know up front what the bill would be and if it goes right for the mechanic they can make some extra money.
