- anon125ExplorerThanks for your input
- cwitExplorerGrease is more important than oil. If you ever get a frozen kingpin you will believe this. I do mine about 3,000 miles or twice per oil change, witch is at 6,000 miles.

Almagard 3752 is to grease what DeOXIT D100L is to electronics cleaners.
Or Woolrich clothing is to Wal-Mart rags...
I pack bearings, After 10 years 100k miles they look like they were done yesterday. Same for ball joints, tie rod ends, driveshafts, etc.
I still have my color bar generator and my Sencor VA48 analyzer along with my Heathkit VTVM:B - anon125ExplorerThanks everyone.

Today with plastic inserts and a dab of grease equals premature failure. Roads are worse, suspensions take a pounding, alemite fittings and quality teflon based synthetic grease is the recipe for longevity.
I have 23 fittings on my F350 pickup underneath. All get greased every oil change. - BarabooBobExplorer IIIIf the chassis has grease fittings, they should be lubed at every oil change. Use a high quality grease and put in just enough to get the rubber boots to plump up just a little bit. Do NOT put in so much grease that you can see it come out around the boots. The boots are suppose to be a pressure system that pushes the grease back into the joint.
- wildtoadExplorer IIYes chassis lubing is yesterday technology for most vehicles. Unfortunately not so for Ford F53 based RVs. There are 10 fittings (I think).
