How reliable is the rain sensor on a Fantastic Fan?

Of course, the best solution to the issue is a Maxx-Air vent cover, but I wonder how reliable the rain sensor is on a Fantastic Fan. I'm looking at a couple "B" motorhomes, all of which have low/mi...

Well every time a drop of water would touch the sensor......whirrrrrrrr it closed
(both of ours).

Yep...cure is a vent cover cause we like having them open and running when we want them to run. Raining is one of those times cause of the cool air.
