I thought about this. Unfortunately the stereo is on the curb side and the awning covers all the viable locations. I'm not interested in running the antenna lead all the way from side to side.

I just happen to have a couple rolls of aluminum tape. Can you elaborate a bit more on that? Are we talking about an * pattern about 31" across?
