I was thinking about a big interior cross-bar with supports branching forward and aft to stabilize. I just like the idea of having something I can step into at any time for a little body work. Beginning to think a big disc on the roof with two holes coming through might be the ticket.
I just went up on the roof and jumped. :) No creaks. Another advantage to no using the stabilizing jacks is that the rig gives with bouncing. It's not locked in place. And I could put additional springs at the hooks near the ceiling for added cushioning.
