I tried an experiment with a 2kw inverter, a while back. I connected a large battery (the kind hey use on large diesel tractors) to the inverter and plugged in a small electric heater. Running it on low setting, it functioned for about 15-20 min. Before shutting down due to low voltage. From this experience, I've determined that running any type heating device, from an inverter would require a huge battery bank. Even 4 golf cart batteries would be too small to accomplish anything of any real meaning. I asked a trucker friend how he could run his electric blanket all night to keep warm. He said that was one reason to keep the engine running...Just my experience. You can try anything you want, but it is my thought that your success will be limited.
